So, no pictures for week four, that was just watering and picking out leaves and debris and waiting. I will try not to miss another week! 5/20/11 Progress reports mostly for today, but Adam did get some really pretty Straw Flowers. We moved some seeds outside in their starter containers, getting them accustom to the outside world. Can’t grow in the guest room forever. The … Continue reading Week Five!
5/5/11 A week later, and we can see life and growth in several areas. The transplanted pea plants kept getting dug up, so we started some seeds. Ever since we toured the place we have been dreaming about using that garden. Adam did some online reading and soon came to Mel Bartholomew and his square foot gardening ideas. Although you … Continue reading The gardening adventure begins
Our search for a summer getaway begins with my husband (Adam) looking at our finances, thinking about places he/we would like to go and trolling the internets for a deal that meets our needs. We have been to some fantastic places in the US (Cape Cod, Chicago, New Orleans) and outside of it too (Paris, Quebec, Cancun). All those journeys started with him. We are … Continue reading Summer 2011.2
